Founder & CEO Sid Villaflor

Sid Villaflor, the visionary behind Villaflor Inc (dba PV Tech), has been leading the company since its inception in 2009. A first-generation immigrant, Sid hails from the Philippines and made Hawaii his home in 1980. Despite facing challenges, he became the first in his family to earn a college degree. A graduate of the University of Hawaii with both a bachelor's and master's degree in philosophy, Sid's journey is a testament to his determination. Despite a modest high school GPA, he excelled in college, earning accolades such as the departmental tuition waiver for his outstanding performance in the Physical Therapy Assistant program and as an undergraduate in the UH Philosophy department. In 2013, Sid ventured into the burgeoning field of residential solar PV, capitalizing on the industry's early growth. His foresight and dedication have played a pivotal role in the success of Villaflor Inc. Beyond his professional achievements, Sid is a family man, happily married to Julia, and they cherish their one-year-old daughter, Aria.
